Challenge

The client, a leading builder of luxury homes in the US., was struggling to combine data across their source systems in order to dial in their targeting capabilities. Specifically, internal teams understood that the ability to score marketing leads and augment them with third party data would be an invaluable asset in reaching home-buyer audiences outside of their historical customer profile. 

Having aligned on Snowflake as their data platform of choice, the customer needed an implementation partner that could work collaboratively with their internal team to optimize their Snowflake environment and integrate data from multiple sources. It was also important that their data partner could deliver a proof of concept that would help align internal stakeholders and demonstrate return on investment. 

Solution

Snowflake first recommended Hakkoda to deliver a proof of concept that would allow the enterprise to evaluate the costs and overall effectiveness of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud for their specific data requirements. Hakkoda was able to deliver this proof of concept quickly and efficiently, winning them the role of implementation partner for the longer data modernization initiative which was now approved to proceed.

From early on, Hakkoda was able to differentiate itself from other data partners in the space on account of the flexibility and industry-specific consideration its teams brought to the project. Hakkoda was also able to expedite the modernization timeline through the introduction of an agile workflow that allowed their teams to eschew linear progression and work on data ingestion, transformation, and modeling at the same time.

Over the course of the engagement, Hakkoda helped the internal team develop and implement a data platform that unifies data between the enterprise’s website, CRM, reporting tools, and accounting systems within a single source of truth. By unifying their data ecosystem in Snowflake, the customer has gained access to sophisticated analytical capabilities that allow the brand to score leads, target campaigns to historically challenging audiences, and sell homes more effectively within existing markets.
