NEW YORK, NY – April 10, 2025 – Hakkoda, an IBM Company, and Sigma, the first data analytics solution built natively for live query on cloud data, today announced general availability of Sigma BI Analyst by Hakkoda on the Snowflake Marketplace.
Sigma BI Analyst by Hakkoda is a Snowflake Native Application that provides users with a free, in-depth assessment of their BI environment. It identifies reporting sprawl, duplications, and other problems commonly found in legacy BI systems and eliminates the cumbersome manual processes and human errors that go with traditional assessment.
The app uses Snowflake Cortex AI to help organizations quickly and effectively audit their legacy BI systems, accelerating review processes and helping them decide whether moving to a modern, user-first environment like Sigma makes sense for their business needs.
Sigma BI Analyst by Hakkoda allows users to easily extract and analyze metadata from their legacy BI environments. The tool assesses company use of legacy BI tools on Snowflake and shows potential cost savings with Sigma in automatically provisioned workbooks. The free Sigma BI Analyst app currently supports Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
