WHAT YOU WILL DO:
A Hakkoda Analytic Engineer will collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide clients with valuable information that they can use to improve marketing, operational and business practices. The main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports. You will be working closely with data engineers, asset owners and team experts and will have responsibilities across different dimensions. You will support the experts in the development of new tools and/or the maintenance of current proprietary databases especially through database structuring, developing workflow processes and reporting.
We are looking for people experienced with building data warehouses and analytics systems in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent area
- 2+yrs in related technical roles, data management, database development, ETL, and/or data analysis domains
- Good understanding of data prep, analytics and visualization tools like R, Python, Excel and Tableau
- Experience/exposure to SQL language, Python, Cloud infrastructure is a plus
- Understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes and big-data concepts
- SQL scripting
- Experience with business intelligence / data analytics
- Ability to prepare reports and present to internal and customer stakeholders
- Track record of sound problem solving skills and action oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills including assertiveness and ability to build strong client relationships
- Ability to work in Agile teams
- Advanced English
$83,000 – $125,000 a year
Pay Range Transparency
Hakkoda is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Hakkoda utilizes a wide salary range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed below.
